Mile High Dining was searching for a sports bar that served good food and found one at Reivers Bar & Grill. It’s been operating for almost 50 years and serving American comfort food with an upscale touch. They have lots of TVs to enjoy the football season as I loved watching University of Colorado beat Georgia Tech.
For drink, I had a Palisade peach draft beer. I did not know beer was made with peaches. It’s a mild tasting beer and good for summer.
I started with pickle chips, which are Housemade pickle slices covered with dill spice breading and a chili ranch dipping sauce. Good and quite different. The six smoked wings with hot honey coating and a blue cheese sauce were delicious except you need a kitchen sink to clean up.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
