Domo is a Japanese country food restaurant celebrating 30 years in business. Domo actually closed in 2021 after a video on TikTok created such a crowd of people with many standing outside. The owner decided to close as they could not meet the demand. It reopened about a year later.
As for food, we shared the spicy Magura tuna appetizer, which had six delicious slices of tuna. I had the Yakisoba bowl of fried udon noodles with grilled chicken and lots of vegetables. It’s a good filling dish as the noodles and chicken hit the spot. My friend had the Nabeyaki kimchi udon noodle hot pot. It was a great presentation as it was topped with a fried egg. It’s definitely a good hot and spicy dish, especially when it’s 90° outside.
The outside patio is beautiful with lots of large shade trees and even running water. If you visit, select the outside seating and take a walk around to enjoy the garden.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Domo is Very Good. Not only is the food good, the back patio is an excellent place to sit outside and enjoy your meal.
