Bites of Europe

While playing lots of golf and attending music concerts in Las Vegas, Mile High Dining found time for dinner at Bites of Europe. The restaurant serves European dishes, including schnitzel, spaghetti, and many other options from different countries of Europe.

We shared the papatos bravas which are fried potatoes with paprika aïoli dipping sauce. They were a good oversized French fry. This dish is from Spain.

My friend had the classic chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes substituted for the french fries. The chicken was good and very tender. The schnitzel is from Austria.

I had the beer battered fish and chips. It was two large pieces of cod with lots of french fries. The fish with the malt vinegar had a great crispy outside paired with a mild fish flavor. The fish and chips are from England.

My drink was unique, KVASS which is a nonalcoholic drink from the country of Lithuania made from fermented rye bread. It tasted like a mild flavored root beer, but it was too sweet.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Bites of Europe is Good.
