OK Cafe is a classic cafe in Atlanta. Even the servers wear a traditional uniform. After our server would not allow a photo, one other server volunteered. The food is southern style. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich with french fries. I had the white bean chili topped with a scoop of sour cream.
At the entry to the café, there is a wall of fame of notable customers who posted their thank you notes. Even one from Harper Lee, who wrote the novel, To Kill a Mockingbird. We sat in one of the old-fashioned booths and enjoyed our lunch.
The chicken salad sandwich with lettuce and tomato was good. Especially the crispy french fries which were plentiful and enough to share. My white bean chili was mild flavored and had lots of pieces of grilled chicken. It was my first dish of white bean chili and it was delicious!.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for the OK Cafe is Very Good. Overall, when considering the low prices, it’s very enjoyable.
