Blue Pan & Cosmo’s Pizza

Off to the world of pizza to compare Detroit style versus New York style pizza. Mile High Dining and friend went to Blue Pan Pizza to try Detroit style. First, we were placed on a wait list but finally were able to sit at a table in the crowded bar area. Detroit style is extra thick dough and is square shaped not round. Our Margherita pizza with extra olives was good. The cheese and olive flavors enabled one to eat all the thick dough.

Later that evening, we went to Cosmo’s Pizza which is mainly a takeaway shop. Seats are at a small counter as there are no tables. They only make thin and round New York style pizza. Our pizza had extra olives and basil. It looked better than it tasted as there was not enough tomato sauce.

Overall, Blue Pan Pizza is a good place to sit and enjoy a pizza while Cosmo’s Pizza is for a takeaway.

No ratings as it was just a pizza night.
