Eating at Madeline is like going home for dinner. It’s located in the building that housed the Fruition restaurant which Mile High Dining always loved and now we love Madeline. A friend and I enjoyed dinner on a busy Friday evening. It’s a cozy but very comfortable setting.
As for food, we shared the beet carpaccio while I had the lamb agnolotti and my friend had the halibut. The plate of the thinly sliced beets with drops of goat cheese was delicious. The Thai curry sauce provided an extra great flavor.
The halibut with the crispy crust and purple rice was an excellent fish dish. The flowers on top of the fish made a great presentation. My spring lamb agnolotti with asparagus was a delightful plate. The pasta which was filled with lamb even allowed the taste of the lamb through. That’s a new dish for me.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Madeline is Very Good.
