Corrine is located in the Meridian hotel with a busy and open lobby. On Saturday night the lobby was filled and there is even a vending machine serving champagne bottles! The restaurant is about 5 years old and serves American styled food. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The dinner menu provides many small plates options, salads, and main plates.
We started with two non alcoholic drinks that were delightful! The small plates we selected were the crab croquettes and roasted carrots. The crab croquettes were small and round in size but had a good crab flavor especially with the citrus aioli sauce. The roasted carrots looked so good but lacked any carrot flavor. Very disappointing.
The main dish of scallops with spinach and mushrooms was very good and saved the night. The scallops were large in size with a crispy outside but tender inside. Clearly the best dish of the evening.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Corinne is Good. Just order the scallops and the verdict will jump!
