Mile High Dining enjoyed brunch outdoors at the Greenbriar. The restaurant is about 5 miles north of Boulder and has a lovely green backyard. The Greenbriar will be 55 years old this year!
We had an appetizer consisting of shrimp, wontons, and mushrooms. Next, the classic green salad. The main entree was salmon with asparagus. The restaurant has their own garden outback, so the lettuce and many vegetables are local.
We enjoyed the large shrimp with the wontons. The salmon with the asparagus was the hit of brunch. It was enough for two to share and the flavor was very good. Having brunch outside was a good way to enjoy the start of summer!
