Mile High Dining enjoyed 4 new restaurants that all opened during the pandemic. All are very good and locally owned and operated and could use your support. A5, Apple Blossom, The Ponti, and Wildflower.
A5 is the newest steakhouse in Denver with lots of seafood and oyster options. It carries the fancy Waygu steaks and the black cod and oysters provide lots of delicious choices.
Apple Blossom opened in the fall of 2021 in a new downtown Denver location and has many vegetable-centered dishes. We love the golden beet salad.
The Ponti is in the remodeled Denver Art Museum. The setting is tops! The seared salmon with black rice and curry was delicious. Diner is limited to Tuesday evening to match the museum operating hours. The entrance is beautiful.
Finally, Wildflower, is another restaurant centered around vegetables. They are open Tuesday through Saturdays and the dining room has beautiful flowers and artwork in a classic setting.
All four restaurants are locally owned and operated, so check them out. Support is needed to keep Denver a great place to venture out for eating. Enjoy!
