We went out for pizza at Johnny Bechamel’s in the Wash Park area. It’s a pizza shop but with lots of side dish options and even several entrees such as steak. Mile High Dining and my neighbor arrived at our early reservations as the place is booming. After being seated, we each ordered a N/A drink but it took over 15 minutes to arrive. We even had to contact another server for help.
The double pepperoni pizza was also good but very difficult to cut on the elevated holder and the little side dishes provided. Next time, I will ask that the pizza sit on the table.
The two side dishes of salad and stuffed peppers were both good. The Little Gem salad had a vinaigrette and chives dressing which provided a tangy flavor. The stuffed peppers were sweet tasting with lots of cheese, spinach, and artichoke for their filling.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Johnny Bechamel’s is It’s OK. The food is good but the poor service lowered the verdict.
