Off to East Colfax to partake in Sunday brunch and watch a drag show at Champagne Tiger. Mile High Dining went a little beyond its comfort level, but overall we enjoyed the good food, loud music, and the fun drag show as it was a first in person experience for me.
The food was delicious. It was much better than I envisioned. My friend had a salad and I had an egg Benedict. We shared a small bowl of potato tots. The BLTA salad had bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and a soft poached egg. It not only look good, it was a very good brunch item.
I had the fried green tomato Benedict, which had two poached eggs on an English muffin with fried green tomatoes. I loved the soft crunch of the fried tomato.
The final act was a drag show with four participants with crazy outfits, lots of energy, and loud music. The brunch crowd loved their act.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Champagne Tiger is Good,
