Somebody People is a vegan restaurant, meaning no meat, fish, or dairy products. The two of us enjoyed the Sunday supper which is a 7 course chef’s menu served family style. We arrived at our reservation time but no tables were available and were asked to wait in the small bar area. At least we should have been given a glass of wine as we had to wait for 15 minutes.
We were then seated in a packed dining area and the food started coming. The first course was bread with a delicious white bean dip. The next 6 courses were a beet salad, panzanella, zucchini boats, fusilli, grilled eggplant, and rye brownies covered in chicken pea cream. My two favorite dishes were the zucchini boats and the grilled eggplants topped with tomatoes.
Check out the Sunday supper as this meal is a preview in advance of the coming week’s menu and it’s only $42.00 per person.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Somebody People is Very Good as the delicious food over came the slow start.
