Blackbird Public House

Finally, Mile High Dining went out for a brunch with a neighbor to the Blackbird Public House. I have driven by this restaurant many times but never stopped. We went on a Saturday at noon and the place was almost empty, but the service was friendly. The restaurant is focused on its large bar and southern style food at least for brunch.

My neighbor had the biscuits and gravy with an added egg. The biscuit was covered with sausage gravy, and the egg. It was large in size and was rated good in taste. I also had a southern style dish, chicken and waffle. The buttermilk fried chicken with sausage gravy sat on a Belgian waffle. With the added maple syrup, it also had a good taste, especially the fried chicken.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Blackbird Public House is Good.
