Pomodoro

Mile High Dining and a neighbor went to the new Pomodoro restaurant housed in the former Greek restaurant , Monaco Inn. It’s now Italian. The original Pomodoro is still in business in Aurora. Pomodoro has a very extensive menu including pizza, pasta, entrees, and many other options. There is no option for reservations online but they take reservations the old way by telephone.

We enjoyed two traditional Italian dishes, spaghetti and eggplant parmigiana. The spaghetti filled a very large plate. It was topped with two large meatballs and lots of red marinara sauce. It was rated very good.

I had the eggplant parmigiana with a large serving of spaghetti covered with the red sauce. The eggplant was blanketed in melted mozzarella cheese, which was the best part. Also, my plate was very large and a generous serving.

The side dish of spinach was too plain tasting. Sadly, the bread knots were not fully baked

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Pomodoro is Good. A traditional down to earth Italian food restaurant.
