Mile High Dining had lunch at Smokin Yards BBQ which is in an industrial neighborhood of Denver. The original Smokin is in Idaho Springs. Both are operated by the Yards family. At lunch is was filled with mainly hard-working guys enjoying a barbeque meal.
I had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich with a spicy slaw, french fries and a basket of onion rings. The sandwich was very large in size and had a great spicy flavor from the slaw and the additional chipotle sauce I added. It was the first time in years to enjoy onion rings and I did. I couldn’t eat all the fries, so they were taken home.
Overall, it’s a good BBQ restaurant.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
