Linglon

Mile High Dining went out for dumplings at Linglon. It’s a small place but with good dumplings. I only knew about the restaurant as my friend visits it quite often. Since it’s located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. One orders at the counter and pre-pays in advance. Adding a gratuity even before you’ve been served is confusing.

We enjoyed a “salad”, Bao, and dumplings with oolong hot tea. The salad, south style delight, is presented on a small plate, covered with mushrooms, bamboo, bean curl, and lotus root. There’s no green lettuce in this salad. It was different but good.

The seven piece Xiao Bao were made with pork, crab meat and crab roe. The buns are served steaming hot. The server even suggested that we should use our fingers to pick up the buns, so we did. The hot broth and pork was good. The best dish of the evening was the eight pieces of chicken and cabbage dumplings. The chicken and cabbage is wrapped in a beetroot infused dough. They were flavorful and very filling.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Linglon is Good.
