Mile High Dining and a golfing buddy had lunch at Saucy’s Southern BBQ. It’s located on a busy street corner next to the University of Denver but only a few customers were present. The menu includes ribs, wings, sausage links with side dishes and lots of different sauces. Even the restaurant’s slogan is “come get lost in the sauce”.
My buddy ordered 3 ribs with French fries while I selected 3 wings, 1 rib, and a side of green beans. My wings were delicious and covered in CarolinaGold sauce. Even the side dish of green beans were good but the rib was disappointing. There was little meat and it did not easily fall off the bone. My friend also agreed the ribs were not great as there was little meat.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
