Mile High Dining went to Parker, CO to enjoy lunch with a friend. We ate pizza at Colonna’s Pizza restaurant. It is a causal place guarded by Jake & Elwood of the Blues Brothers.
We had an iced tea or Diet Coke to start a dry January. You order at the counter and it’s delivered table side. We started with the mozzarella sticks which are breaded then fried. They are served lightly dusted with herbs and a side of house made marinara sauce. We liked them as they were served nice and warm.
We selected one of the signature pizzas, the Florence, which had red sauce, sausage, red peppers, onions and black olives. You will need a fork as the ingredients easily side off. Otherwise, it was rated good and flavorful.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
