Two of us when to Lucina Eatery & Bar to enjoy an evening of Latin American food. It’s a small and noisy restaurant. The food is based upon the many countries where the co-owners were raised and lived including Mexico, Argentina and many others.
We started with n/a margaritas which were just okay. The food was much better. The large empanadas were filled with steaming hot pulled chicken with a little spice. They were delicious. The side of bread with lots of extra butter was a good choice.
The paella dish, only available on the weekend, which feeds 2 to 3 people was selected. The bomba rice is simmered with shrimp, mussels, fish, clams, beets and many other vegetables. It’s definitely a large sized plate. More importantly, it was very enjoyable. Even the beets were good and tasty.
My friend had the pastel de horchata which is a small cake made with milk and rice. Good but not great.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Lucina Eatery & Bar is Very Good.

PS, on the way home we were treated to a parade of Christmas decorated VW bug automobiles.
