Odell’s Bagel

On a cold morning, Mile High Dining, ventured out to Odell’s Bagel. The bagels are Denver style that are not only hand rolled, but use lots of Colorado ingredients. Even the flour is mainly grown in Colorado. The shop itself is small with a table and a counter. Most orders are to go.

I had the 2 half sandwiches on an everything bagel. The bagel itself is tough on the outside but soft inside. One half of the sandwich was the nova lox with capers and cream cheese. The lox was excellent as it dominated the cream cheese taste. The other half of the sandwich looked great, but the salmon roe was overpowered by the cream cheese.

The surprise was the price as the two fancy half sandwiches cost $19.50 plus tax. The price is not for everyone but when salmon roe is used, I understand.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Odell’s Bagel is Good.
