On the trip to the Hudson Valley, NY, we took side trip to state of Massachusetts to eat The Red Lion Inn. It was celebrating 250 years in business. We tried to sit in the little tavern inside but settled for the formal dining room.
I had the fish and chips while my son has the steak and frites. I enjoyed the fish with the extra crispy outside but the chips were cold. The steak helped keep the frites warm so it was a better plate for the winter.
There are not many places to eat in America that are 250 years old. Mile High Dining enjoyed the outing.
