A causal Italian restaurant in East Denver, Cucina Bella, is a good place to try. It’s a small restaurant owned and operated by two brothers. The menu has a very large selection including Antipasta, salads, pastas, pizzas, entrees, and desserts.
We each had two dishes which are plenty as the servings are large in size. I had the crispy calamari which filled the large bowl to the top. I enjoyed the calamari especially with the dipping sauce. The other dish was the apple salad with a side of salmon. The salad itself was delicious because of the cranberries. Sadly, the salmon was overcooked.
My guest had the red beet salad that looked and tasted good. Her main plate was the shrimp scampi with pasta. She enjoyed the shrimp and had plenty to take home.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Cucina Bella is Good.
