We went to Major Tom on a summer like evening in the middle of October. Major Tom is the little sister to the Michelin starred Beckon restaurant. We sat at the counter to enjoy the chefs working. Major Tom is a small place but the staff makes it feel like home. Your questions about the dish are answered with prompt and friendly replies. We even received a small complementary dish.
The plate of beets with pumpkin seeds were shared by the two of us. They were delicious and healthy. The beets are steamed and then baked. I had the main dish of cabbage which will not be pictured as no one wants to see cabbage. It was good tasting. My friend had the Alamosa bass. It’s a light fish, but with the mushrooms and butter sauce it was delicious.
We each also had a non-alcoholic cocktail called Starry Maid. It’s made with hibiscus and a non-alcoholic aperativo.
