I went to Stoney‘s Bar and Grill to watch the Univ. of Colorado football game. Stoney’s is a sports bar that serves good food. Lots of college football games were on the 70+TVs and two large projection screens. The hosts made sure I had a seat to watch Coach Prime.
As for food, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with blue cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a side of potato tots. The sandwich was very good as the blue cheese added a great flavor. Definitely one of the better chicken sandwiches I have found in Denver. You will need several napkins when eating this sandwich.
They even have a small outside patio area with water sprinklers to help cool the 90° temperature.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Stoney’s Bar and Grill is Good. It has one of the better selections of tavern food than most sports bars.
