Corsica Wine Bar

Mile High Dining went to the Corsica Wine Bar that opened earlier this year. It’s related by ownership to the Barcelona Wine Bar just blocks away. Corsica is much larger than it appears outside with indoor seating for 100+ and a patio. The food has lots of small plate options. The wine by glass offers 3-ounce and 6-ounce pours. Perfect for you to try several different ones. Wine by the bottle is also available.

I had to have the two wines from the island of Corsica. The rosé was very plain tasting while the red gernache wine was good and flavorful. As for food, I had a small bowl of mussels with croutons. The mussels were good, but bread would have been preferable to soak up the broth rather than croutons. I also had the grilled calamari which is a spicy green salad with very small slices of calamari. It was not what I was expecting therefore it was just OK. I also had the delicious bread and butter.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for the Corsica Wine Bar is Good.
