Table 6

Mile High Dining and others went to Table 6, a good neighborhood restaurant. It’s a small place just off of busy 6th Avenue but it’s very friendly. A farm to table cuisine that emphasizes American comfort food. The restaurant is about 20 years old and now is owned and operated by two women. We were served by one of the owners who is the manager, Amanda. She was very helpful to explain several menu items.

As for food, the three of us shared two starter dishes, falafel and potato tots. The green bean falafel with Tahini yogurt was good while the tots were crunchy and very good.

The main dishes were duck, halibut, and enchiladas. The mushroom enchiladas were quite different and good as they had a touch of spice. They were topped with cheese and Pico. The duck was not greasy and had a very good flavor. It was served with a Panzanella salad and smoked cheese. The halibut was mild tasting and sitting on a plate of vegetables. The main plates are very large in size so we were able to share a slice of each other‘s dish and we passed on desserts.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Table 6 is Good. The one negative that held back the verdict was the excessive noise level.
