Rare Bird

We went to the rooftop bar, Rare Bird, at the Halcyon Hotel. It was an early evening and of course, there were some raindrops and wind. We ordered drinks, a chicken sandwich, and a pimento cheese appetizer.

The cocktail was the Honey Bee, which is bourbon with lemon juice and honey. It was a little too mild for me, while the White Rascal beer was better.

The chicken sandwich is very large in size. Definitely a great crunchy taste and large enough to share. The pimento cheese with pretzels was good and spicy. 

Rare Bird is a good place to hang out and enjoy the very good food. Just remember Denver’s volatile late afternoon weather may put a few raindrops on your meal.
