Mile High Dining and a friend went on a springtime search for the best grilled artichokes. We found them at Hillstone. We have tried several restaurants in the past but these large springtime artichokes were tops.
They are prepared by boiling them, then grilled and seasoned with olive oil and mild spices. The dish consists of three large halves with a side of a remoulade dipping sauce. More than enough to share. We also had the spicy kale salad with chicken.
Since Hillstone is a chain restaurant, no verdict is awarded as I try to stay local. The best artichokes are a springtime treat, so go enjoy now.
