Mile High Dining and friends went out for soul food. Mississippi Boy is a soul food restaurant that specializes in catfish and ribs. The restaurant is very plain looking outside but inside it has a good appearance with lots of art work.
Since I have not eaten catfish in years I ordered the catfish and a side of collard greens with smoked turkey. One had the smoked chicken wings with cornbread and the other had the oxtails. We all shared a dish of ribs.
We encountered another slow service but at least they apologized. The food was good and I heard no complaints from the other two. The serving size is very large so each had enough for a take away. I enjoyed the catfish and collard greens and it tasted like I was back in Georgia.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
