Off to downtown Golden to Indulge Bistro and Wine Bar for Denver Restaurant Week. After working for decades in Golden, we enjoyed an outing rather than work. Indulge has a great-looking bar surrounded by walls full of wine bottles. We arrived at 6:30 but had to wait 30 minutes to order. At least we should have been allowed to order a glass of wine.
Indulge has many wine and food options. We each ordered the 3-plate Restaurant Week selection. I had chicken, salad, and bruschetta while my friend had salmon, soup, and dessert. I was informed that the chicken takes 30 minutes to prepare but we waited almost 60 minutes. The food was OK but the very slow service was not acceptable!
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Indulge Bistro and Wine Bar is Its OK as the poor service dominated the evening.
