Off to enjoy sushi at Temaki Den. Mile High Dining went to the Source to have some fish at Temaki Den which is a sister restaurant to the Sushi Den. The Source was a restaurant-filled building several years ago but most restaurants have closed, thus Temaki Den is the center attraction.
We were presented with a complimentary starter, a small bowl of mushrooms. Next, the sslmon sushi was delicious. The bright red salmon was the best dish of the evening. It was followed by the shrimp tempura with a mild dipping sauce. A delightful dish as it was presented with a warm temperature. That’s the advantage of sitting on the counter next to the chefs. We finished with the Aburi Nigiri salmon belly and Black Snapper. Both are presented sitting on white rice. They were just OK as they lacked flavor.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Temaki Den is Good. Sadly, the adjoining restaurants in the Source are closed so the neighborhood is too quiet.
