Mile High Dining and a friend enjoyed an evening at Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder. In spite of 9 inches of snow in Boulder, the hospitality from the staff and food were tops. This writing is not my typical restaurant review with ratings and a verdict but a glimpse of the fancy food options.
First, the Capesante which is scallops with nasturtium flowers, raisin, cucumber, and Pearl onions. Beautiful!
Qualia which is quail, duck sausage, turnip huckleberry, and coffee oil.
Salmon affumicata had smoked salmon with yellow beets and mustard seeds. Delicious.
The homemade sourdough bread with butter was maybe the prettiest presentation of butter in town.
We finished with a latte and viewed the Michelin Star Award in the kitchen.
Take a loved one out to Frascsa to enjoy life.
