Glo Noodle House

Mile High Dining and 2 others went on a search for noodles and found Glo Noodle House. It’s noodle heaven. Owned and operated by a husband and wife team as the husband leads the kitchen staff and the wife leads the service. It’s a small place with a patio for summer weather. Glo received the Michelin “Bib Gourmand“ award, so it was packed. Each of us had a fancy cocktail made with either sake, gin, or tequila.

For starters, we shared the Aburi (slightly seared) salmon sitting in a Miso sauce with a little spicy salsa. The salmon was delicious and we all agreed we would come back and eat another dish of salmon.

The three Noodle bowls were the Deathwish, Shrimp and Pork, and Lemon Chicken. First of all, the bowls are very large in size and two of us took home some noodles. The Deathwish noodles are filled with chili-based pork, bacon, green onion, and garlic, and chili oils are added. Nothing terribly hot and it was given a thumbs up for taste.

The Shrimp and Pork noodle bowl had bean sprouts with ground pork, shrimp, and noodles. A good presentation with the green sprouts sitting on top. Again, a thumbs up was given for taste.

Lastly, I had the Lemon Chicken made with chicken broth, glazed chicken pieces, green onion, and lots of noodles. A very good taste, and enough for a takeaway meal.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for the Glo Noodle House is Very Good.
