Mile High Dining has awarded only three excellent Verdicts in the past couple of years and somehow Michelin copied the 3 Verdicts and awarded a Michelin star. The Verdicts were awarded to Frasca, Beckon, and Bruto. When Michelin copies your excellent Verdicts, pay attention!
Frasca is a lovely place for fine Italian food and wine with great service. Besides the Michelin star award they also received the outstanding service award. They were the only one.
Beckon serves a multi course chef’s menu at the chef’s counter. The food covers a wide range from vegetables, fish, pork, and everything in between. My favorite dessert was the poached rhubarb sweetened with honey, and formed into a delicate shaped red rose.
Bruto also is a chef’s counter with a six course Omakase focusing on vegetables. The food is Mexican based with a touch of an Asian influence. Plan ahead as it’s a small place with only 16 seats.
