Mile High Dining and two others went to Rooted Craft Kitchen after the Broncos lost another game. The restaurant is bright and open with a small outside patio. The menu features American style dishes.
I started with a low-alcohol drink while the others had a beer and wine. The Brie cheese and Pea’s starter dish was delicious and had a delightful presentation. The others had a Caesar salad and chilled Bay scallops to start. Both were good.
The second dish was topped by the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich. It was very crispy and had a great taste. Even the side of French fries was good. My summer vegetable salad with added chicken was very healthy but lacked flavor. The Arugula salad topped with grated cheese was a good summer dish. The Brie Cheese and Pea dish and the Hot Honey chicken sandwich were the hit of the evening.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Rooted Craft Kitchen is Good.
