Mile High Dining and neighbor went to The Ginger Pig, which had just received an award from the Michelin Dining Guide. It’s called the “Bib Gourmand” for a good quality meal and good value. It’s a casual Chinese restaurant that you order at the counter and pay in advance. The food then is delivered to your table. The food was good, but the service was not acceptable.
First, the water jug was empty as you have to help yourself to a glass of water. Our cocktails arrived timely but the delivery of food was almost an hour later. For cocktails, my neighbor had the clear sake while had the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon cocktail. Mine was delicious! The food included sweet and sour chicken, and Three Treasures from the Earth. Both plates were very large in size and delicious. The three treasures were eggplant, potatoes, and peppers all sitting in a spicy sauce. Later, our vegetable eggrolls arrived.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for The Ginger Pig is Good. The food was very good but the service was not acceptable.
