Mile High Dining went to the newest Birdcall to enjoy a chicken sandwich and a beer. This location has a large and open dining area. You order on a computer screen and the food was delivered to our table. I had the Rancher chicken sandwich which has all-natural crispy chicken with cheddar cheese, bacon and red onion jam, and Birdcall sauce. My neighbor had the Original chicken sandwich with a side of Brussel Sprouts. Of course, I paired my sandwich with the Birdcall hazy IPA.
The Rancher sandwich with extra sauce was delicious and only $9.50. The chicken was tender and with the crispy outside it was rated very good especially since it was still warm. The coleslaw was just so-so as it’s need extra vinegar or spice to enliven the cabbage.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Birdcall is Very Good. I suggest you forget the coleslaw and order a side of French fries or Brussels sprouts.
