An old burnt-out furniture store has been converted to a 4 story open-air bar with great restaurant-quality food, Burn Down. It just opened on 5-20-2023. Check out the rooftop views of the mountains and the city. During the summer on Fridays and Saturdays, live music will be playing. It may be a 4 story bar but it has lots of good food selections from appetizers to main entrees.
On a warm afternoon for lunch, we enjoyed hush puppies and each had a salad. My guest had the roasted beet salad which had beets, carrots, grapefruit, potatoes, and whipped chevre cheese. A very good summer salad. I had the summer greens salad with lots of mixed greens, strawberries, candied walnuts, and chevre cheese. Also, a great light summer salad. We shared the hush puppies with honey butter. Lastly, I had a Sweetwater draft beer from Fort Collins.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Burn Down is Very Good. We want to go back and try some main entrees dishes.
