Mile High Dining treated two students that caddied last summer and each was awarded the golf caddie scholarship to attend the University of Colorado. We went to the new My Neighbor Felix – Centennial that just opened on March 3 and were surprised it was packed with customers. It is a very large place with a second level and an outside patio under construction.
We started with the customary chips and salsa. The salsa is presented in a small bowl so it’s hard to dip your chips! The three of us each had a main dish and skipped dessert. One had the Iron Skillet chicken enchilada which is served piping hot in the skillet. It’s very large in size and enough for a takeaway. It was rated very well.
The other caddy had the 3 tacos, Pescado Frito, which has mahi mahi with cabbage and corn tortillas. Again it was given the delicious rating.
I had the Butternut Squash enchilada with spinach, cheese, red onions, and mole sauce. It was a great presentation and also was rated very well. The margarita added a good touch!
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for My Neighbor Felix – Centennial is Very Good. Our one complaint was the excessive noise level and even two high school students thought it was too loud.
