Le Bilboquet

Mile High Dining and 5 others went to Le Bilboquet, a fancy French restaurant. Its sister restaurant in NYC has been considered one of the snootiest restaurants in NYC. It’s Denver, no snootiest here! It’s beautifully decorated but remember to bring your wallet as it’s not cheap.

The 6 of us enjoyed French wine and rose champagne with our meal. We shared 2 appetizers, escargot, and foie gras. The sauce surrounding the escargot was the best tasting part.

The main dishes included mussels, duck, veal, and bouillabaisse. All of us rated the dishes very good. One diner even stated the duck ( canard confit ) was the best ever as it was very tender and flavorful. I had a large bowl of bouillabaisse that included several extra large shrimp, mussels, and lots of fish. It was delicious.

Of course, the group shared several desserts ( apple tart, chocolate mousse, chocolate pastry) and several had coffee to finish the evening.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Le Bilboquet is Very Good.
