Mile High Dining went to the Atelier by Radex to start off Denver Restaurant Week. It is French-style food with American influence. The four-course ($45) menu includes soup, a small second dish, an entree, and dessert. The three of us had the cappuccino soup that was mildly flavored.
I had the Buffalo tartare which was a small dish with a great presentation. Not spicy and is quite a different dish! Others had mushrooms and lobster ravioli for their second dish. Both gave a thumbs up. Two of us had the Salmon, with a side of arugula, which was delicious. Even the argula was good. The other main dish was shrimp pasta. Again rated good and enough for a takeaway.
For dessert, the berries and cream were a hit as they had very little sugar. The other dessert was the creme brulee.
All three of us enjoyed the bread and butter for the table. We all agreed we would love to take home this butter!
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for the Atelier by Radex is Very Good.
