Ni Tuyo is an upscale Mexican restaurant. It serves a unique style of dishes, Molcajetes. Meats and vegetables are served in boiling hot volcanic mortars, thus the name. We visited on a Saturday and it was packed. Although we enjoyed a little walk as there is a lack of parking, give it a try to enjoy a different style of Mexican dish.
Mile High Dining and guest selected the Molcajetes, Cielo Mar Y Tierra which includes steak, chicken, shrimp, spicy tomato sauce, cheddar panela cheese, onions, and nopales(cactus paddles). First, it is more than enough to share. Most importantly it’s delicious! The chicken and steak are very favorable after being cooked in boiling tomato sauce. Even the green cactus was good. A side of flour tortillas was provided to help enjoy .
A glass of Pacifico with lime is an excellent pairing to quiet the extra spice.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Ni Tuyo is Very Good! Molcajetes is one of the best Mexican dishes Mile High Dining has tasted in Denver.
