Terra

Mile High Dining and 5 friends enjoyed brunch at Terra. It’s chef owned and operated by one who grew up in Boulder, Colorado. The restaurant features American-style food using the products of local farmers.

We selected 4 of the 6 dishes for this review. First, the veggie benedict. It had two large poached eggs sitting on the muffins covered in hollandaise and cheese. A great presentation and a taste to match.

Next the two pasta dishes. The breakfast rigatoni had venison ragu and it was topped with a poached egg. The carbonara had pork, egg, and lots of extra pepper. Both dishes were rated as good.

The pork benedict had lots of ham and hollandaise sauce with a side of fried potatoes. Again, a great presentation and it was given a very good score.

The two side dishes of house-made bread and a waffle were maybe the highlights of the afternoon meal.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Terra is Very Good. Sadly the place was almost empty so get out and support them. The chef/owner even came out to introduce himself to the group. We even got to pick on some Nebraska football fans!
