We went to the Dim Sum capital of Denver, Star Kitchen. It was packed with customers on a Saturday afternoon. Star Kitchen features Dim Sum with the many trolley carts circling throughout the restaurant. It’s a little overwhelming trying to select a dish from a trolley rather than a menu. Nevertheless the three of us shared dumplings and a special dish of duck breast. Star Kitchen has received many awards for its Dim Sum including one from CNN Travel.
The dumplings we shared were shrimp and scallops, steamed Shanghai soup, and beef. Also we enjoyed a plate of rice noodles. The dumplings were all delicious except the steamed Shanghai soup as it lacked the hot soup. The rice noodles were rated excellent by one of us. The special dish of a barbecued style duck breast was very large, plenty for all three of us to enjoy.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for the Star Kitchen is Very Good.
