Convivio Cafe is a Guatemalan bilingual coffee shop that is woman owned and operated. Convivio serves coffee that is grown and roasted by Guatemalan farmers. Currently they have snack items like muffins and cookies and plan to expand the food items as it has been open only for a week. Even their web site is bilingual. The shop itself is beautiful inside as it is well decorated. To help fiancé the shop they relied upon a crowdfunding campaign.
My choice of coffee (cafe con leche) was good but the friendly service and setting was even better. One wall features “ huipiles” which are woven blouses worn by women in Guatemala.
It is the prettiest coffee shop in Denver that Mile High Dining has found. Give it a try!
