A trip to the foothills and we found the Blackbird Cafe. A woman owned and operated restaurant with a lovely setting on Bear Creek. It’s open for breakfast and lunch. A large outside patio allows a view of the changing leaves. Enjoy the patio before the snow falls.
The breakfast menu is very extensive with egg benedicts, omelets, pancakes, and other options. The afternoon presents burgers, sandwiches, and salads.
Mile High Dining had an iced tea with the Bison Burger and a side salad of lettuce and veggies. The burger is very large and it’s topped with melted cheese, tomatoes, avocado, pickles, and onion. It’s a delicious burger as the cheese and avocado add a great taste. Even the side salad with cherry tomatoes and vinaigrette dressing was good.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for the Blackbird Cafe is Very Good. But sitting next to Bear Creek was even better.
