Mile High Dining went to south Havana to enjoy Korean food for a late lunch. K-B.B.Q & HOTPOT features hot pots and has received several awards as the best Korean restaurant in Denver.
The House special of Soon-Tofu with vegetables was selected. It came with 9 different bowls of vegetables and an extra bowl of white rice. It’s presented boiling hot in a cast iron bowl. Definitely an experience to dip the veggies into the hot broth and try to add some rice to calm down the heat. The are other meat options if that is your choice. There was enough for a small takeaway.
The hot pot was paired with green tea and brown rice. It was poured table side similar to a French press coffee. The tea tasted different but good .
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for K-B.B.Q & HOTPOT is Good. Hot pots were made for colder days, so let’s return in the winter.
