Mile High Dining’s 4 favorite breweries! Blue Moon, Briar Common, Counter Culture, Post Chicken and Beer LoHi.
Blue Moon is the largest brewery in Denver as it can seat 688 inside and a large outside patio. They have 23 different beers on tap besides the Blue Moon beer itself. We enjoyed Crikey, an Australian style IPA and the Extra Bases, an English amber beer! Besides the beer there are lots of options for food. @bluemoonbrewery
Briar Common has probably the best food of any brewery in Denver. I enjoyed the Ahi tuna poke salad with mangos, rice, onions and lots of arugula. The other had the grilled sandwich with a side salad. I enjoyed the 4 flights of beer for only $12. Excellent choice.@briarcommonbreweryeatery
Counter Culture located in Capital Hill area was one of the first places to use the street for eating outside during the pandemic. It’s a small brewery but has great beer choices including Luxembourg saison and a dark Houndstooth Irish stout. One had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and declared it very good. @counterculturebrewery
Post Chicken and Beer LoHi has the best bartenders that not only allow you to sample other beers but explain how the beer is made and why they taste different. If you are hungry the crispy chicken thigh fries are tops. I enjoyed the Revenge Bedtime Procrastination ale and the other had the Top Rope, a Mexican style lager. @thepostchickenandbeer
