Homegrown Tap & Dough specializes in beer and pizza. We visited the Wash Park location. Homegrown has other food selections such as appetizers, salads, and burgers. This location has a very large outside patio to enjoy summertime. There are lots of indoor seating available.
We ordered pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and peperoncini, which is a spicy green pepper. The pizzas are 14 inches so it’s a very good size to share. Each had a salad: a half salad and the large arugula.
The pizza had a great presentation sitting on the table. The cheese and peperoncini peppers made a good showing . The thin crust with the toppings made it a very good pizza. The house salad was just okay while the arugula with blue cheese and dates was a very good summertime salad.
The two beers were okay but one would not get excited over.
My ratings are: It’s Ok, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
