Shanghai Kitchen

Mile High Dining went to the Tech Center to enjoy Chinese food at Shanghai Kitchen. After eating French inspired fancy steaks, we wanted to eat vegetables. The restaurant is located in a large strip mall but it’s very inviting once inside. The menus are extra large in size.

We had four dishes to share and Lucky Buddha beer. They do not serve baijiu, the extra strong Chinese liquor.

We started with wonton soup. It was a very good little bowl of hot and steamy soup.

The l vegetarian egg rolls were fried a little too long for us to enjoy. They were too crunchy to cut and not much flavor either.

The steamed dumplings were served with a dipping bowl of soy sauce and were good.

The Kung Pao vegetable plate with a side of rice saved the evening meal. It was very large in size, perfect for sharing. It wasn’t too spicy if you avoided the hot peppers. We loved the broccoli, onions, and other vegetables. A good solid dish. The Lucky beer was a good choice paired with the Kung Pao.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for the Shanghai Kitchen is Good. They specialize in takeaway orders as the counter was filled with lots of bags when we entered.
